"Brief Encounter" Original Painting Going Up for Auction

Original Künstler oil painting going up for auction - Brief Encounter, depicting Middleburg, Virginia in the midst of the Civil War in February of 1863, will be auctioned off as part of Christie’s American Art Auction on December 5, 2013, at Rockefeller Plaza in New York. The estimated sale price is $30,000 - $50,000. Brief Encounter is Lot 116, featured on page 210 of Christie’s e-catalog.
